Meet Coach Josh
About Me
Hey, I’m Josh — thank you for being here! I’m grateful to do work that is meaningful, personal, and transformational, and I’m excited to share it with you.
Roots in the Mountains
I was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, where the outdoors became my greatest classroom for fun, growth, and exploration. My love for people, fascination with movement and physiology, and curiosity about the human spirit naturally led me to a career in coaching and teaching.
Nearly Two Decades in Fitness & Wellness
For almost 20 years, I’ve worked across the fitness and wellness industry in roles ranging from fitness director, breath coach, and personal trainer to ultra-endurance athlete, humanitarian, event director, travel concierge, and sports performance coach.
I spent 13 years in New York City at the flagship Chelsea Piers Fitness, collaborating with some of the world’s most talented trainers. From there, I combined my passions for faith and fitness with Team World Vision, serving for 8 years as an event manager, fundraiser, and endurance coach. That work raised funds and sponsorships for communities living in extreme poverty and profoundly shaped my worldview.
Coaching for Transformation
Throughout my career, my passion has been to help people unlock their potential and tell amazing stories with their lives. Today, I do that through movement, breath, and adventure.
Through my coaching platform, I work with people from all walks and stages of life- kids, athletes, teams, special populations, and even “rebel-hearted” grandparents. I offer:
Private & virtual training
Workshops in nature, breathwork, movement, cold-water immersion, and sauna therapy.
Corporate & team programs focused on resilience and wellness culture through engagement, education, experience, and camaraderie.
Immersive adventure experiences that take individuals and groups into endurance challenges and outdoor explorations around the world.
These opportunities serve as a launchpad for personal transformation, community-building, and meaningful adventure.
Adventures & Milestones
Some of my most favorite athletic accomplishments include:
Completing the New York City Marathon (3x)
Crossing the finish line at the Comrades Marathon (3x)
Summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro (4x)
Stand-up paddleboarding 26 miles around Manhattan (SEA Paddle NYC)
Run-hiking 45 miles across the Grand Canyon (Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim)
Creating & hosting “50 Epic Miles” treadmill fundraisers (2x)
