A high-performance wellness day for men of all ages to train, recover, connect, and recharge in the mountains outside Telluride.

This isn't a retreat. It's a day built for men who want to show up fully — physically, mentally, and socially — and leave feeling stronger, clearer, and more connected.
Set at The River House in Placerville, Colorado, tucked in the canyon along the San Miguel River between Telluride and the valley floor. River & Rise brings together a small group of men (limited to 20) for a full afternoon of breath-work, fitness, cold exposure, sauna, and real conversation. A well-designed day in a beautiful place with good men.

12:45 PM — Arrive, settle in, connect. Doors open at 12:45. Come early, grab a snack, throw a frisbee. The River House will be ready for you.
1:45 PM — Welcome + Official Kickoff. We gather as a group. Josh sets the tone for the day.
2:00 PM — Guided Breathwork. A powerful, guided breath session to reset your nervous system and sharpen your focus. Taught and led by Josh Fly.
2:40 PM — Movement + Training. A full-body movement session — mobility, activation, strength, and conditioning. Accessible for all fitness levels. Expect to work.
3:15 PM — Open Hang Time Unstructured time. Rest, roam, play, or just sit by the river. This is yours.
4:20 PM — Fire & Ice (Sauna + Cold Plunge Circuit) The headline experience. Two saunas running, cold river plunge, and guided thermal rotations. Our friend Erik Breggmen will give a brief talk on the science and benefits of heat and cold exposure before we begin. Erik will be available throughout for deeper conversation.
6:00 PM — Closing Circle. We close the day together. A few words, a moment to mark what we did, and a gift for every attendee.
6:15 PM onward — Optional Wind-Down (add-on) For those who want to stay — fire, food, good company. See below.

Leave behind: Your phone during the program (we’ll be taking photos during the event so you don’t have to.)

Through FlyLife Performance & Wellness Coaching, Josh works with individuals and groups to optimize physical performance, mental clarity, and purposeful living. River & Rise is his first annual men's gathering — built from the belief that men do better when they do meaningful things together.
